Q:~ WHAT ELSE DO I NEED?
A:~ The Beauford has been designed to use the readily
available, reliable and inexpensive running gear from
the Ford Sierra or Ford Cortina. A number of other Cortina
parts are also required and are listed in the specification
section. ~ A suitable ‘donor’ Cortina may
be purchased cheaply and used to provide the parts needed
or these can be obtained from one of a number of specialist
companies who cater to the requirements of the component
car builder. We are happy to advise you on the parts that
best complement your chosen engine, how best to obtain
them, and can even put you in touch with possible suppliers.
Q:~ WHAT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
A:~ Our ongoing programme of innovation and development
is always increasing the range of options. We currently
offer both 2 and 4 door bodies and a long bodied 4 door
version. The long bodied 4 door has even more rear seat
space, larger rear doors further increasing the long bodied
Beauford’s usefulness for wedding car use. All body
formats are available in either soft or removable hard-top
versions.
Windscreens in either ‘split’
or curved windscreen format, wing valances, luggage rack
and box, tow bar, are just some of the many options that
can tailor the Beauford to meet your needs and individual
taste.
Q:~ WHAT DO I DO NEXT?
A:~ Words and pictures can’t do the Beauford justice.
We want you to drive a Beauford before making up your
mind. We have two demonstration cars which are available
by appointment for you to drive. Bring your family or
friends; we can assure you of a warm and informal welcome.
No hard sell, no pressure, just the opportunity to see
our facilities, talk to our staff and any visiting customers.
