When I and my husband, decided to look at the Beauford, it was a joint decision and we have carried on as a 50/50 ‘partnership’ basis throughout. We have shared all the decisions, financing and of course the building of our beloved Beauford.
Before starting on the project neither of us had any more than a basic understanding of car mechanics having got no further than changing the oil filter on a car previously. We were surprised how simple the whole operation was despite the fact that so many people told us it was an ‘easy build.’ We only have a small garage but were amazed how with a bit of planning, this didn’t cause us any problems. If we had bought the starter kit, storage during the build would have made it even simpler.
